BCNA's 2nd Annual Teady Bear Drive for LVMPD
Buffalo Coalition Neighbors collected and donated eighty teddy bears and other soft stuffed animals for the
Summerlin Area Command’s COP (Community Oriented Policing) Officers. We delivered to the newly assigned Sgt. Dowler and his team at the First Tuesday meeting, April 7, 2026.
The stuffed animals are in the Officer’s vehicles and given to help calm children in crisis or traumatic
situations such as car accidents or domestic violence calls.
A huge thank you to all the neighbors, who donated the adorable stuffed toys.
