BCNA Annual Block Party 
September 26, 2026We had another amazing gathering of friends and neighbors for our annual block party.

With very busy schedules, two lovely ladies, Mayor Shelley Berkley and Ward 2 City Councilwoman Kara Kelley took time to join us.

We had eighty seven attendees, including neighbors from Section 10 and 11, Aurora Topp neighborhood (Oakey and Torrey Pines), and as far away as the Northwest Area Rural Preservation neighborhood and McNeil Estates (Rancho and Charleston).

Laura MCSwain, the Save Las Vegas Water Fairness dynamo, shared valuable information on our water situation.

Tacos el TuTu was a big hit again with delicious tacos and baked potatoes.

Thank you to all who participated in the silent auction. We raised just about $2,000!! These funds pay for the Signal app, donations for Derfelt Elementary, our neighborhood pizza party, and coffee on the curb (watch for future event dates).
