October 5, 2024 was a warmer day than usual at 102  degrees.

Carol had gotten water cooling fans that helped cool the air. 

We had delicious food from The Meat Wagon and Preeta’s kitchen. Pete and Carol made two delicious desserts and Manny shared some bundt cakes.

Dina set up some fun new games for kids and adults with Target gift cards for prizes. 

Boyd gave a short safety talk on trespassing to help with the homeless in the park and on our streets and sidewalks.

Candidates running for a variety of political offices mingled with the crowd.
