Trash Cleanups March 7 2026

Our lovely spring like weather has turned windy and cold.  We still had six people show up to participate.
Tim, Terri, Pastor Jason, Jennifer, Dan and Kimi picked up enough palm tree turtles on Warbonnet and O’Bannon to fill four large trash cans!
Tim, Dan and Kimi continued to pick up debris, dead tree branches, lots of cardboard, lost umbrellas, a child’s car seat and several bags of trash on Via Olivero.
We went to the coffee shop afterward to warm up and share neighborhood stories.

Trash Cleanups February 7 2026

With early spring like temperatures we had a splendid day picking up trash.  Pastor Jason and Tim covered O’Bannon while Pierre, Jeanine, Kimi, Linda and Trevor cleaned up Via Olivero and Valadez.  Carol and Terri hit Cimarron and El Parque.  The team captured over 260 gallons of trash.

Special thanks to Trevor for bringing his friend Linda and as always to Pastor Jason from Good Samaritan Lutheran Church at the Lakes.

January 10 BCNA Trash cleanup and Coffee on the curb

Travelin Tims’s coffee served up a wide variety of delicious coffee drinks, hot chocolate, and apple cider. We had twenty neighbors plus Pastor Jason and Darcy from Good Samaritan Lutheran at the Lakes Church and Ms. Hawkins kindergarten teacher at Derfelt attend this morning. Eight neighbors picked up five bags of trash along with pieces of cardboard and other debris. Thank you to all those who took the time to meet this morning, we have the best neighbors!!!
